Tailgating

Tailgating is a big part of the fun at the Daytona Speedway, where events bring out a real community of racing enthusiasts with a distinct culture of celebration. Outside food and beverage is allowed, as long as its contained in a small, soft-sided cooler. Camping passes for race fans grant access to the Daytona Speedway infield, which is the fume-filled place to be for any high-octane event.

Parking

Getting out of the Daytona 500 parking lots after a big event can be difficult and time-consuming. Outsmart the herd by taking advantage of the free park-and-ride shuttle service that operates from outside parking lots, Lot 7 and Lot 10. Lot 7 is located at the corner of Bill France Blvd. and Clyde Morris Blvd., and Lot 10 is located at the southeast corner of Williamson Blvd. and Bellevue Extension. Parking in these lots is free and so is the shuttle to the Daytona Speedway.
